This medication contains an artificial sweetener called aspartame, so patients with phenylketonuria should limit its use. Patients who are hypersensitive to aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid taking this medication along with those drugs. Use during pregnancy should only be done if necessary, and caution is also required during breastfeeding. Children and elderly individuals can also take it, but safety and efficacy may vary by age; thus, doctor's guidance should be followed.
