Precautions

Caution should be exercised when taking this medication if the patient regularly consumes more than three glasses of alcohol a day, as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding; it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication may increase the risk for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events; patients with cardiovascular disease or risk factors should carefully consider its use and take it for the shortest duration possible at the lowest effective dose. Serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease should be especially cautious. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, or a history of allergies to this medication or similar drugs, should not take it. Certain patient groups, including those with heart failure, severe kidney or liver dysfunction, pregnant women in the late stage of pregnancy, and breastfeeding women, also require caution or prohibition of use. If dizziness, skin rash, gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, etc., occur during use, the patient must immediately inform medical personnel, as these adverse reactions can be fatal and require prompt action. This medication may interact with other drugs; therefore, patients taking anticoagulants, diuretics, antihypertensives, antidiabetic agents, etc., should consult a doctor before taking it. During pregnancy, especially in the late stages, it should be avoided as it may be harmful to the fetus, and breastfeeding women should also refrain from taking it. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children and adolescents, so its use is limited. Elderly patients are at higher risk for side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, so special caution is needed when taking it. In case of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, and seizures may appear, so immediate medical attention is necessary for proper treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container is not recommended as it may hinder quality maintenance.
