Treatment of gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis
This medication is used to treat diseases caused by excessive gastric acid secretion, such as ulcers in the stomach and duodenum, gastritis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is also effective in relieving the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It helps prevent gastric and duodenal ulcers caused by surgery or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Additionally, it plays a role in preventing Mendelson's syndrome when administered before anesthesia. In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 4 tablets four times a day. 3) Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
