How to take

Adult dose

This medication is administered orally and can be taken at any time of the day, regardless of meals. Adults should take 2 mg once daily. For elderly patients aged 65 and older, the initial dose is 1 mg once daily, and if necessary, it can be increased to 2 mg once daily. Patients with severe renal impairment and severe liver impairment should take 1 mg once daily. Patients with mild to moderate renal and liver impairment do not require dose adjustments.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients who are allergic to the active ingredient or excipients, patients with severely impaired kidney function, patients with disorders of bowel function or structure, and patients with a genetic condition that prevents lactose digestion should not take this medication. The dosage of this medication should be reduced and administered cautiously in patients with severe renal impairment.
