Relief of acute bronchitis symptoms
This medication is primarily used for acute bronchitis. Acute bronchitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the bronchi, leading to symptoms such as cough, phlegm, and difficulty breathing. This drug helps alleviate these symptoms and improve inflammation in the bronchi.
Adults and those over 12 years: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day, taken with a small amount of water.
This medication is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients with bleeding tendencies or taking anticoagulants should not take this medication. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should not use this medication. Avoid this medication if you have an allergic reaction to any component of this drug. Those with genetic galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this drug. Children under 12 years of age should not use this medication. This drug contains lactose, so patients with galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should refrain from taking it. The drug contains colorant Tartrazine (Yellow No. 4), so individuals allergic or sensitive to this ingredient should use it with caution. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Rarely, bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur. There is a risk of allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, and itching, so caution is necessary. In very rare cases, serious allergic reactions such as facial swelling, shortness of breath, and low blood pressure may occur. Liver function abnormalities could lead to increased liver enzyme levels, so patients with liver issues should be careful. As platelet levels may drop, consult a doctor if signs of blood abnormalities occur. If symptoms of liver damage, such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite appear, immediately stop taking the medication and seek medical attention. If fever, difficulty breathing, or bloody sputum persist, discontinue the medication and consult healthcare professionals. Do not swallow while lying down; it's better to take it sitting or standing. This medication can affect blood coagulation, so patients taking anticoagulants should consult their doctor. Due to the lack of established safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to avoid using this medication. Overdose may worsen side effects, so adhere to the prescribed dosage and consult a doctor if problems arise. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to another container. The effects on driving or operating machinery are unknown, so caution is advised.
