This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by a cold, such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, as well as discomfort from chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. Patients should be aware that this medication can effectively reduce cold-related symptoms and help improve discomfort in daily life.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older and adults: 2 capsules taken three times daily, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rash, blisters, or reddish spots appear on the skin during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult medical staff. Since it contains acetaminophen, care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. As it contains pseudoephedrine, if symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or small blisters occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be used by individuals who have a known allergy to any of its components or who have experienced asthma attacks, infants under three months of age, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or individuals with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease. During the course of treatment, it is safer not to take cough medications, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or flu, those with allergic tendencies, or those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid conditions should consult medical personnel before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, shaking, severe skin reactions, or difficulty breathing occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider. This medication should not be administered to children under two years of age without medical consultation unless absolutely necessary. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and refrain from prolonged use, and avoid alcohol while taking this medication. Drowsiness may occur when taking this medication, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Caution is required when taking this medication with certain antibiotics or other drugs, and it should be discontinued immediately if unusual symptoms are suspected. Keep out of reach of children, store away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, and it is advisable not to transfer to another container to maintain quality.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antiparkinson agents), cough suppressants and expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines (oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness, or allergy). Be cautious when taking it with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, and tricyclic antidepressants.
