How to take

Adult dose

The maximum daily dosage is 10 mg. The orally disintegrating tablet can be placed on the tongue to dissolve and can be taken with or without water.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with hypersensitivity to specific components, or by women who are pregnant or nursing. It should also not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic diseases. Patients with heart disease or electrolyte abnormalities may require cardiac monitoring. Caution is advised during driving or operating machinery, especially during the initial administration or when increasing the dosage, as dizziness or fatigue may occur.
