This medication should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients at risk of bleeding or taking anticoagulant medications should also avoid its use. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should refrain from taking this medication. Individuals with allergies to any of the ingredients in this medication should not use it. It contains lactose and is not suitable for patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders. It is not administered to children under 12 years of age. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 4, and those with a history of allergy to this component should use it with caution. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as occasional abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Rarely, bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds, as well as allergic reactions like skin rash, hives, and itching may occur. Very rarely, serious allergic reactions such as facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and a drop in blood pressure may occur, requiring caution. Signs of liver dysfunction may occasionally appear, and some patients may experience symptoms of hepatitis. A decrease in platelet count has been reported, but this may be due to other causes. If signs of liver damage such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur while taking the medication, it is necessary to stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor. Also, if fever, difficulty breathing, or coughing up blood occurs, stop taking the medication and notify healthcare professionals. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. There have been no reported cases of interactions with other medications; however, because it may affect blood coagulation, caution is needed for patients taking anticoagulants. Especially when used with coumarin-based drugs, the risk of bleeding may increase, so consultation with a doctor is required. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should refrain from using this medication as its safety has not been sufficiently established. No cases of overdose have been reported, but side effects may worsen, so if the dose is exceeded, it is essential to consult a doctor.
