Precautions

This medication may affect the liver; therefore, those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe skin reactions like rashes, erythema, or small pustules appear while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Those allergic to any components in this medication or who have previously experienced asthma attacks after taking this or similar medications should not take this medication. Those currently taking antidepressants or certain other medications, or who have stopped taking them within the last two weeks, as well as those with peptic ulcers, severe liver, kidney, or heart disease should avoid taking this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication while consuming alcohol, and those with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should refrain from using it. Since this medication contains acetaminophen, caution should be exercised as taking it with other acetaminophen-containing products can lead to liver damage. Moreover, taking it with central nervous system-affecting medications such as cough suppressants, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives can increase drowsiness, so it is best to avoid driving or operating machinery. While taking this medication, one should avoid consuming alcoholic beverages and be cautious as drowsiness may occur. Particularly, those with hives, asthma, allergic constitution, or conditions like liver or kidney diseases, gastric ulcers, blood disorders, or heart dysfunction should consult a professional before taking this medication. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, the elderly, and children should also consult a professional before taking this medication for safety. If symptoms do not improve with this medication or if serious adverse symptoms like rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, breathing difficulties, or jaundice occur, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. For long-term use, regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted; if anomalies are found, dosage adjustments or discontinuation should be made. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and kept in its original container.
