This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular issues such as heart attack or stroke, so it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. As there is a possibility of developing ulcers or bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders should use caution and notify healthcare professionals immediately if symptoms occur. There are patients who should not take this medication, including those with allergic reactions, severely impaired liver or kidney function, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with weakened liver or kidney function, asthma, or hypertension should use this medication with caution, and their condition should be monitored frequently during administration. Common side effects during treatment may include dyspepsia, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, skin rash, and hypertension. If serious abnormal symptoms occur, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. This medication may interact with multiple drugs, so if other medications are being taken, it is important to inform a doctor, especially when taking with antihypertensives, anticoagulants, and antidepressants. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should avoid this medication, and nursing mothers should either cease breastfeeding or discontinue the medication. It is advisable not to use in children or adolescents as safety and efficacy have not been established. Elderly patients may have impaired kidney and liver function, so dose adjustment and monitoring of condition are necessary. Regular blood tests and assessments of liver and kidney function should be carried out during treatment, and any abnormal findings should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately. As dizziness or drowsiness may occur while taking this medication, it is safer to avoid driving or operating machinery.
