Ledron Syrup (Levodropropizine)

Adult dose

Adults: Administer 10 mL (equivalent to 60 mg of levodropropizine) orally 3 times daily, at least 6 hours apart. The dose may be adjusted appropriately according to age and symptoms.

Child dose

Children: Administer at least 6 hours apart. 10～20 kg: Administer 3 mL per dose (equivalent to 18 mg of levodropropizine) orally 3 times daily. 20～30 kg: Administer 5 mL per dose (equivalent to 30 mg of levodropropizine) orally 3 times daily.

This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions. It is also safe not to administer it to patients with increased bronchial mucus secretion or abnormalities in mucociliary function. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and women who are breastfeeding should not take this medication. It is also not recommended for patients with very poor liver function. Patients with severely impaired heart function or very low kidney function should use this medication with caution. Care should also be taken when administering this medication to the elderly or children under 2 years old. Taking this medication can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, indigestion, diarrhea, and vomiting. Additionally, central nervous system symptoms such as fatigue, headache, and dizziness, and symptoms of rapid heartbeat may occur. Rarely, skin allergic reactions or severe immune reactions may also occur. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness or stupor may occur while taking this medication. In particular, taking it with alcohol may exacerbate these symptoms. If used in conjunction with sedatives, sensitive individuals should be even more cautious. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided as it may cause quality deterioration or accidents.
