In the case of severe diarrhea, the effectiveness of oral contraceptives may be reduced, so it is advisable to use additional contraceptive methods. This medication has a low potential for drug interactions, but caution is needed when used with certain antifungal or heart-related medications. Additionally, when used with drugs like atropine, the effectiveness of this medication may be reduced. There are no particular problems when taken with food. Use of this medication during pregnancy is not recommended, and women of childbearing age should use effective contraceptive methods while taking it. Nursing women are also advised to avoid this medication. This medication is not recommended for adolescents or children under the age of 18.
