Gunil Levodropropizin Syrup

Adult dose

Adults: Administer 60 mg of levodropropizine orally 3 times daily, at intervals of at least 6 hours. The dose may be adjusted according to age and symptoms.

Child dose

10～20 kg: Administer 18 mg orally 3 times daily, at intervals of at least 6 hours. 20～30 kg: Administer 30 mg orally 3 times daily, at intervals of at least 6 hours.

This medication should not be used by individuals with an allergy to this medication or any of its components. It should also not be administered to patients with excessive bronchial mucus. It is not suitable for patients with a specific condition called ciliary dysfunction. Women who are pregnant, possibly pregnant, or nursing should not take this medication. It is also safe not to administer this medication to patients with severely impaired liver function. Patients with severely weakened heart function or significantly reduced kidney function should use this medication cautiously. Elderly individuals should also be cautious when taking this medication. Particularly in children under 2 years of age, care should be taken when administering this medication. Taking this medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, dyspepsia, diarrhea, and vomiting. It may affect the central nervous system, resulting in fatigue, weakness, coma, headache, and dizziness. Symptoms such as rapid heartbeat may also occur. Very rarely, allergic reactions on the skin have been reported. Additionally, severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis, have been reported in some patients, so caution is advised. When driving or operating machinery, caution is needed as this medication may cause drowsiness or a semi-conscious state. This effect may be exacerbated when taken with alcohol. If taken with sedatives, the effectiveness may increase, so sensitive individuals should exercise caution. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not take this medication. This medication should be kept in a safe place out of reach of children. Transferring the medication to another container may lead to accidents and is not good for maintaining the quality of the drug.
