Patients who are allergic to any ingredient of this drug or to cephalosporins should not typically use it, but if necessary, it should be used with extreme caution. People allergic to penicillin antibiotics, or those with a family history of asthma or skin allergic symptoms should also use this drug with caution. Patients with severely impaired kidney function should be careful as this drug may not be well eliminated from the body. In the case of respiratory symptoms such as difficulty breathing, cough, or fever, stop taking the medication and seek appropriate treatment. Blood tests may show changes in leukocyte or platelet counts, so regular check-ups are needed for long-term use. Neurological symptoms such as confusion or seizures may occur, so patients with impaired kidney function should adjust the dosage and be careful. Rarely, serious skin reactions may occur, so skin condition should be closely monitored, and if any abnormal symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately.
