Precautions

This medication is a nasal corticosteroid used to treat allergic rhinitis or inflammation in the nasal cavity. It should not be used in certain patients. For example, if there is an allergy to this medication or any of its components, if there is an untreated infection in the nasal mucosa, if the patient has had recent nasal surgery or trauma, and it should not be administered to infants under 2 years of age. Additionally, it requires special caution in patients with respiratory tuberculosis or systemic infections, recurrent nosebleeds, a risk of chickenpox or measles infection, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as the risks and benefits need to be carefully considered. While using this medication, side effects such as headache, nosebleeds, cough, upper respiratory infections, and pharyngitis may occur, and in rare cases, serious hypersensitivity reactions such as allergic responses, bronchospasm, and difficulty breathing may be observed. If such symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately and medical attention sought. Prolonged high-dose use may lead to systemic corticosteroid side effects, so caution is advised, and regular check-ups are recommended to monitor changes in the nasal mucosa. Particularly in children, there is a possibility of growth delay, so growth status should be monitored regularly during treatment. This medication may interact with other drugs, especially if the patient is taking CYP3A4 inhibitors, which may increase the risk of systemic side effects. Pregnant or breastfeeding women need to carefully weigh the potential risks and benefits of using this medication and monitor its effects on the fetus or infant. When using, shake the container well, spray only in the nasal cavity, and be careful not to spray directly into the eyes or nasal septum. Keep out of reach of children, and safely discard after the specified period of use. Finally, this medication may yield positive results in doping tests for athletes, so caution is advised.
