Precautions

This medication should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients who are prone to bleeding or taking blood coagulation inhibitors should also avoid this medication. This medication should not be administered to patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function, as it may cause side effects. Those who have previously shown allergic reactions to any component of this medication should refrain from using it. It is advisable to avoid this medication in children under 12 years of age. Taking this medication may occasionally cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as discomfort, heartburn, nausea, or diarrhea. Rarely, symptoms of bleeding such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur, so caution is necessary. Allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching may arise; if any unusual symptoms occur, consult a doctor immediately. In the event of severe allergic reactions that cause facial swelling or difficulty breathing, emergency treatment is required. There may be abnormalities in liver function, so if symptoms such as jaundice or dark urine appear, discontinue use and inform a healthcare professional. There is a risk of reduced platelet counts, so it is advisable to periodically check blood test results. When taken in conjunction with coumarin-type blood coagulation inhibitors, the risk of bleeding may increase; consult a doctor for advice. If symptoms do not improve during the course of treatment or if symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-streaked mucus persist, discontinue use immediately and inform the healthcare provider. It is not advisable to take this medication while lying down. Exceeding the recommended dosage may exacerbate side effects, so do not exceed the prescribed amount, and consult a doctor immediately if overdose is suspected. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container. The effects on driving or machinery operation are not known, but caution is warranted if unusual symptoms occur.
