Acute bronchitis is a respiratory disease characterized by cough and sputum due to inflammation of the airways. This condition is primarily caused by infection and requires appropriate treatment to alleviate symptoms and aid recovery. This medication is used to reduce inflammation in acute bronchitis and improve symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and those over 12 years: Take 1 tablet three times a day with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. It should not be administered to patients with a tendency to bleed or those taking anticoagulants. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should not use this medicine. Avoid taking this medication if allergic to any of its components. This medication contains lactose and may not be suitable for patients with lactose intolerance or specific metabolic disorders. Children under 12 years of age should not take this medication. Caution should be exercised in patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to Yellow 4 dye. Gastrointestinal problems such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea can occur during use. Rarely, gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur, necessitating caution. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, urticaria, and itching may occur. Platelet counts may decrease, so watch for symptoms of bleeding. If symptoms do not improve or if fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-streaked sputum persist, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. It is advised not to take this medication while lying down. This medication can affect blood coagulation, increasing the risk of bleeding when taken with warfarin and similar medications; therefore, caution is necessary. Overdoses can increase the risk of side effects, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and consult a physician in case of overdose. Keep this medication out of reach of children and avoid transferring it to another container. The effect of this medication while driving or operating machinery is unknown, so caution is advised.
