Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil are medications used to effectively manage blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. When these two drugs are used in combination, each component helps to dilate blood vessels and improve blood circulation, thereby assisting in lowering blood pressure. Combination therapy is applied when control of blood pressure is difficult with a single drug, aiming for more stable management of blood pressure. This treatment contributes to protecting the cardiovascular health of the patient and reduces the risk of complications from hypertension. Thus, the combination therapy of Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil is used for effective blood pressure control in essential hypertension.
