How to take

Adult dose

For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan monotherapy, administer 1 tablet daily with water regardless of meals. The 40/12.5 mg combination may be given to patients whose blood pressure is not controlled with 40 mg of telmisartan. The 80/12.5 mg combination may be given to patients whose blood pressure is not controlled with 80 mg of telmisartan.

Precautions

Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), angioedema (including fatal outcomes), serious allergic reactions, severe rash with high fever, blistering, skin peeling, pain in oral/ocular mucosa, severe skin adverse reactions, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.

Mild side effects

Bronchitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, hypokalemia, hyperuricemia, hyponatremia, anxiety, depression, insomnia, sleep disturbances, dizziness, visual impairment, blurred vision, vertigo, tachycardia, arrhythmia, hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, respiratory distress, respiratory pain, lung inflammation, diarrhea, dry mouth, bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, indigestion, vomiting, liver function abnormalities/liver injury, erythema, pruritus, rash, hyperhidrosis, low back pain, muscle symptoms.

Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.

This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture. It is recommended to store it at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Proper storage will help maintain the drug's efficacy over time.
