Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with an allergic reaction to this drug or any component contained in it. Additionally, patients with pernicious anemia or megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency should not use this product. Since this product contains lactose, individuals with lactose intolerance or lactase deficiency, as well as those with genetic issues such as glucose-galactose malabsorption, should not take it. Patients should always consult with their doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. If you are currently under a doctor's treatment, consultation before taking this medication is required. Patients with pernicious anemia will not experience neurological symptom improvement with this medication alone, hence vitamin B12 preparations should also be used; care should be taken if the diagnosis is uncertain, as this medication may improve blood condition and make diagnosis more difficult. Patients taking amino salicylic acid, oral contraceptives, methotrexate, or trimethoprim, which are dihydrofolate reductase inhibitors, may experience interactions with this medication, so consultation is necessary. Patients taking the hydantoin anticonvulsant phenytoin should note that this medication may lower phenytoin blood levels, potentially increasing seizure frequency, so caution is advised. If you are taking sulfasalazine or cholestyramine, absorption of this medication may be inhibited, so consult a specialist before taking it. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash, itching, generalized fatigue, or difficulty breathing occur, discontinue use immediately and consult medical staff. If loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, swelling, or weight loss occurs, stop the medication and consult an expert. Additionally, there may be central nervous system symptoms such as gastrointestinal disorders, changes in sleep, decreased concentration, hyperactivity, irritability, agitation, depression, confusion, or judgment impairment; cease use immediately if any of these symptoms occur. This medication must be taken according to the specified dosage and regimen, and when administered to children, guidance and supervision from a guardian are necessary. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking for about one month, consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately. Store this medication in a sealed container out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and keeping it in a dry, cool place.
