Twin Beta-Al Tablet 80/5/5 mg (Telmisartan, Amlodipine, Rosuvastatin)

Adult dosage

This medication is taken once daily with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., morning). The dosing of telmisartan/amlodipine combination should be individualized based on the effectiveness and tolerability for each patient. The initial dose of rosuvastatin is 5 mg once daily, and the maintenance dose of 10 mg once daily is appropriate for most patients. The maximum dose is 1 day

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with allergies to the ingredients in this medicine or similar drugs, those with specific liver or kidney diseases, and patients with severe heart conditions should not take this medication. Patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, weak liver or kidney function, the elderly, and those with certain muscle diseases should take this medication with special caution and require regular testing. If muscle pain, muscle weakness, severe fatigue, or reduced urine output occurs during the treatment, consult a doctor immediately. There may be interactions if taken with other medications, so it is essential to inform the healthcare provider of any current medications, especially when combined with specific antibiotics, immunosuppressants, or antihypertensives. This medication could affect the liver and kidneys, hence regular liver and kidney function tests are required. Caution is necessary when driving or operating machinery as dizziness or drowsiness may occur. In case of overdose, symptoms like hypotension, dizziness, and irregular heartbeats may appear, requiring immediate medical attention. Safety has not been established in children, so its use is not recommended, and it should be kept out of reach of children.

Serious side effects

Urticaria, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, asthma attack, respiratory issues accompanied by cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme malaise, sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, urinary issues.
