This medication is for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and must be prescribed after a doctor's diagnosis and physical examination. Sexual activity may put strain on the heart, so patients with cardiovascular diseases should be particularly cautious. If an erection lasts for more than 4 hours, immediate medical attention should be sought, as untreated cases may lead to penile tissue damage or permanent loss of erectile function. Patients who have recently had myocardial infarction, angina, or stroke should not use this medication. This medication may affect sperm production, so consultation with a doctor is necessary for long-term use. Patients with anatomical abnormalities of the penis or certain blood disorders should use this medication cautiously. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should consult a doctor prior to use, and dosage adjustments may be necessary. It is considered safe not to use this medication in conjunction with other erectile dysfunction treatments. Patients with specific genetic conditions such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. Patients with eye health issues or previous loss of vision should also exercise caution. Adverse effects such as headache, dyspepsia, back pain, myalgia, flushing, and other symptoms may occur during the treatment. Serious side effects include heart-related problems, vision or hearing loss, allergic reactions, and if any abnormal symptoms occur, medical staff should be notified immediately. Taking this medication with alcohol may lower blood pressure, so excessive drinking should be avoided. It should not be used by pregnant women or children.
