This medicine is used to relieve major symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 24 mL three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. If necessary, take it at bedtime, and the interval between doses is primarily four hours.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15 years: take 16 mL once. Ages 7 to under 11 years: take 12 mL once. Ages 3 to under 7 years: take 8 mL once. Ages 2 and older -

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If serious skin rashes or blisters, fever, or itching occur during the use of this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and a healthcare professional should be consulted. This medication contains acetaminophen, and care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products. Persons with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, or who have a history of asthma triggered by medication, should not take it. Infants under three months old and nursing mothers should either avoid using this medication or discontinue breastfeeding. People currently taking MAO inhibitors or who have stopped them within the last two weeks should not take this medication. It is safer not to take this medication in combination with other cold medicines, antipyretics and analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Particularly, children and infants should consult a doctor before taking it, and children under two years old should avoid it except in special cases. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or insomnia occur during usage, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. In severe cases, symptoms such as hives, difficulty breathing, severe skin reactions, or liver function abnormalities may occur, and if any of these symptoms arise, one should immediately inform healthcare personnel. Adhere strictly to the indicated dosage and do not use it for prolonged periods. Avoid drinking alcohol during use, as drowsiness may occur; refrain from driving or operating machinery.
