Acute bronchitis is a condition primarily characterized by inflammation of the bronchial tubes, leading to symptoms such as cough, phlegm, and difficulty breathing. This medication helps alleviate the symptoms of acute bronchitis and reduce inflammation, thereby being used in the treatment of acute bronchitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet, 3 times a day with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with bleeding tendencies or who are taking anticoagulants should not take this medication. It is also advisable for patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction to avoid using this medication. Persons with a history of allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medication should avoid taking it. This medication is not to be administered to children under 12 years of age. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal issues such as heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhea may occur, so caution is needed. Rarely, symptoms such as bleeding gums or nosebleeds may appear. Allergic reactions such as skin rashes, hives, or itching may occur rarely, and any unusual symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with a physician. In very rare cases, severe allergic reactions such as facial swelling, difficulty breathing, or low blood pressure may occur, requiring urgent treatment. Liver function abnormalities may arise; therefore, if symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, usage should be discontinued immediately, and medical consultation is needed. If symptoms do not improve within one week after taking the medication or if symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-stained phlegm persist, discontinue use and seek medical attention. It is not recommended to take this medication while lying down. There are no reported interactions with other medications; however, caution is advised when taken with coumarin anticoagulants as it may affect blood coagulation. Overdosage may exacerbate adverse reactions, so if an overdose occurs, consult a physician immediately.
