This medication may put stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication or any other antipyretic analgesics. The acetaminophen contained in this medication may rarely cause serious skin reactions. If skin rash or hypersensitivity symptoms develop after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Care should be taken not to exceed a maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals who have a history of allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. Those with a history of asthma, infants under three months of age, and those currently taking or have recently discontinued certain antidepressants or psychiatric drugs should also avoid taking this medication. In cases of severe allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, high fever, or severe skin symptoms, seek emergency treatment immediately. Children under two years of age should generally not take this medicine, and if necessary, should be evaluated by a physician. This medication should be strictly administered as directed in terms of usage and dosage, and prolonged use should be avoided. While taking this medication, alcohol should be avoided, as concurrent use of certain antidepressants or alcohol may impact the metabolism of acetaminophen in the body. Additionally, taking this medication in conjunction with a specific antibiotic, flucloxacillin, may rarely cause severe metabolic acidosis; thus, it should be taken as per medical advice if using these medications together. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a tightly sealed container in a cool place with low humidity.
