This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Aged 15 and over: 2 capsules at a time, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals

Children's dosage

Aged 7 to under 15 years: 1 capsule at a time, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks daily, as it may cause liver damage. Persons with allergic reactions to this drug or its ingredients, or those who have had such experiences in the past, should not take this medication. Avoid taking this medication if you have a history of asthma, are under 3 months old, or are taking or have recently stopped taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics. This medication contains lactose; individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic diseases should refrain from taking it. While taking this medication, do not concurrently take other medications that contain cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. As it contains acetaminophen, care should be taken to avoid using this in conjunction with other acetaminophen-containing products, as it may lead to liver damage. Children with suspected chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic constitutions, those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, the elderly, individuals with gastrointestinal disorders, pregnant or nursing women should consult with a professional before taking this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness occur during treatment or if severe allergic reactions, skin abnormalities, asthma, or liver dysfunction symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. Adhere to the specified usage and dosage and do not take this medication long-term; children should be supervised by an adult during use. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, and be cautious as it may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery.
