Treatment of bacterial gingivitis and oral mucosal inflammation
This medication is used for bacterial gingivitis and bacterial inflammation of the oral mucosa, as well as for temporary adjunctive therapy after periodontal surgery.
Before using this medication, brush your teeth and rinse your mouth thoroughly with enough water. Apply an appropriate amount of this medication directly to the inflamed areas in the mouth using the nozzle 2 to 3 times a day after meals and brushing, and allow it to remain for about 1 minute before spitting it out. This medication should not be swallowed.
This medication may disrupt the balance of normal oral bacteria, so it is recommended not to use it for extended periods. Individuals who have had allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to the main ingredient or any components of this medication should not use it. This medication is intended for use only in the mouth and should not be swallowed. It should not be applied around the eyes or ears; if contact occurs accidentally, it should be rinsed off immediately with plenty of water. Do not use on areas with poor blood circulation or wounds and ulcers. This medication may lose its effectiveness when used with anionic components found in soap or regular toothpaste, so it should be used at least 5 minutes after rinsing the mouth thoroughly after brushing. After using this medication, it is advisable to avoid foods and drinks that contain sugar, as sugar can interfere with the effect of this medication. Individuals with asthma or respiratory hypersensitivity should be cautious, as inhalation of this medication may trigger an asthma attack or breathing difficulties. It is advisable for individuals with allergic diseases or a family history to consult a specialist before use. During pregnancy, this medication should only be used if the benefits outweigh the risks, and it should be used cautiously during breastfeeding. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been sufficiently established for children under 18 years of age. If severe allergic symptoms such as rash, swelling of lips, tongue, throat, or face, or difficulty breathing occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. When used for the first time, a tingling sensation on the tongue or temporary changes in the oral mucosa may occur, and taste may diminish or the tongue may feel numb. If these symptoms persist, consult a specialist. Teeth, dentures, and the surface of the tongue may become yellow or brown. The additives contained in this medication may cause skin irritation, so caution is required. In general bacterial infections, antibiotics should be used concurrently, and the treatment period should usually not exceed 10 days. If both gingivitis and periodontitis are present, the effectiveness of periodontitis treatment should not be judged solely based on the condition of gingivitis after treatment with this medication. Staining may occur on teeth, prosthetics, and the back of the tongue, so caution should be exercised if staining is a concern. Particularly, individuals with rough or porous prosthetics may find it difficult to remove staining, so they should be careful, and those who dislike staining should refrain from using this medication. If too much of this medication is applied, it should be rinsed off thoroughly with water. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, and away from heat sources.
