Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage in those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, so it should be taken only after consulting a physician or pharmacist. The acetaminophen component included in this medication may rarely cause serious skin reactions. Therefore, if any skin rash or hypersensitivity occurs after taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg, and this should not be exceeded, nor should it be taken together with other products containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine component contained in this medication can cause severe skin adverse reactions. If fever, erythema, or small blisters appear, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. People with hypersensitivity to this medication or those with a history of asthma caused by this medication or its components, infants under the age of 3 months, those taking certain antidepressants, severe hypertension, or serious kidney disease should not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not take other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines that may be included in other medicines. Children suspected of having or having had chickenpox or influenza, those with skin allergies or conditions involving the liver, kidneys, heart, or thyroid must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, vomiting, itching, or dizziness occur while taking, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional, especially since severe skin symptoms or anaphylactic shock, although rare, may occur. It is advisable for children under 2 years old not to take this medication; if absolutely necessary, consultation with a physician is required. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration. Do not use it for more than the recommended duration, avoid alcohol, and be cautious as it may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery. Also, in rare cases, metabolic acidosis may occur when taken with certain antibiotics, so caution is needed, and if any abnormal symptoms are suspected, discontinue use immediately. Finally, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children, kept in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place. Do not transfer it to another container.
