Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, patients who have allergies or hypersensitivity to this drug or its ingredients, patients with untreated infections in the nasal mucosa, those who have had recent nasal surgery or have wounds in the nose, and infants under 2 years of age should not be administered this drug. This medication should be used cautiously in some patients. Patients with respiratory tuberculosis, systemic infections, ocular herpes, patients who experience recurrent nosebleeds, patients at risk of chickenpox or measles, patients with unilateral nasal polyps or cystic fibrosis-associated nasal polyps, and pregnant or nursing women should exercise caution when using this medication. When using this drug, side effects such as headaches, viral infections, pharyngitis, nosebleeds, cough, and upper respiratory infections may occur. Rarely, skin rashes, nasal irritation, liver dysfunction, blood abnormalities, and respiratory symptoms may appear, and severe allergic reactions such as immediate hypersensitivity or anaphylaxis may occur, so if any unusual symptoms appear, use should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted. Prolonged use of high doses may result in systemic side effects, so caution is necessary, and if symptoms of bacterial infections appear, a doctor should be consulted immediately. Also, regular examinations are necessary to check for changes in the nasal mucosa, and if local fungal infections occur, treatment should be discontinued or appropriate treatment should be received. This medication may increase the risk of exposure to infections such as chickenpox or measles, so checking the medical history and vaccination status is essential, and in cases of infection risk, special caution is needed. When administered to children, growth rates may decrease, so regular monitoring of growth status is necessary, and it is advisable not to use it in children under 2 years of age due to the lack of established safety. Elderly patients may have impaired physical function, so their conditions should be closely monitored during use. In the case of overdose, specific treatment is generally not necessary, but caution is required due to the potential side effects from corticosteroid overuse. Before use, the container should be well shaken and a spray test should be performed, and it should not be sprayed directly into the eyes or nasal septum but used solely within the nasal cavity. Keep out of reach of children, and there are no known effects on driving or operating machinery.
