Used for improving symptoms such as excess gastric acid, heartburn, gastric discomfort, gastric bloating, body fullness, nausea, vomiting, gastric pain, burping, and dyspepsia related to peptic ulcers.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
2 tablets for adults, taken three times a day between meals (between meals).
Precautions
This medication should not be used in patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Additionally, it contains lactose and should not be administered to patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients who have had allergic reactions, those taking other medications, or those with renal or liver function issues should use this medication cautiously. Patients receiving medical treatment or those with low phosphate levels should also be careful, as should those with allergies to the ingredient Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine) included in this product. Patients with high blood pressure or older patients, those with heart or kidney issues, or those with swelling must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If allergic symptoms such as rash or itching occur during the use of this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, although rarely, symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, headache, constipation, or dry mouth may occur, and if these symptoms appear, cease use and seek counsel. Rarely, a rapid heartbeat or elevated liver function test values may occur, so caution is advised. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration; if symptoms do not improve after two weeks of use, stop taking it and consult a professional. Long-term use should be avoided, and patients with a history of kidney disease should consult an expert before use. If symptoms like decreased urine output, severe swelling of the face or limbs, eyelid heaviness, stiff hands, elevated blood pressure, or headache occur during use, cease taking immediately and consult an expert. Long-term use of this medication may lead to symptoms such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain, necessitating regular check-ups. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia; if these symptoms occur, stop taking the medication. Caution is needed when taking this medication along with potassium-containing preparations, licorice, or certain diuretics, as it may increase the risk of side effects. This medication should not be taken with gastrointestinal pain relievers or antispasmodics. This medication is not to be administered to children under 15 years and should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Store in a place out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry location to maintain quality and prevent misuse by not transferring it to other containers.
