This medication is used to temporarily relieve symptoms such as itchy eyes, tearing, runny nose, itching of the nose and throat, sneezing, nasal congestion, and sinus congestion.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults aged 12 and older: Take 20mL (4 packets) every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours.

Child dose

Ages 2-6: Take 5mL (1 packet) every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours. Ages 6-12: Take 10mL (2 packets) every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine and may rarely cause severe skin adverse reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If you experience symptoms such as fever, red spots, and small blisters on the skin, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be used by individuals who are currently taking or have discontinued monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within the past 2 weeks. Additionally, individuals with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease should not take this medication. If you have heart disease, thyroid problems, diabetes, glaucoma, asthma, or chronic bronchitis, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Do not exceed the recommended dosage, as it may cause excitement particularly in children. Be cautious when taking this medication with sedatives or tranquilizers as it may cause increased drowsiness. If symptoms of anxiety, dizziness, or insomnia occur, discontinue use and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after a week or if a fever develops, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. If a sore throat persists for more than 2 days or if symptoms such as headache, fever, rash, or vomiting occur, discontinue use and consult a professional. If symptoms such as severe abdominal pain or rectal bleeding occur in relation to pseudoephedrine, stop taking the medication immediately. Additionally, if sudden severe headache, nausea, confusion, seizures, or visual disturbances occur, stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical attention. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication, and if necessary, they must receive a doctor's evaluation. Store this medication in a secure place out of reach of children, and do not transfer it to another container from its original packaging. In case of overdose, seek help from a doctor or pharmacist immediately, even if no symptoms are present, as urgent medical intervention may be required.
