How to take

Adult dose

Take three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. If necessary, take before bedtime, with a dosing interval of generally 4 hours. For those 15 years and older, take 24 mL once.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15 years: take 16 mL once. Ages 7 to under 11 years: take 12 mL once. Ages 3 to under 7 years: take 8 mL once.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if symptoms such as rash or itching appear after taking it, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional.
