This medicine is used to effectively relieve various symptoms of the common cold including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For those aged 15 years and older: 1 pouch (20ml) per dose, taken three times a day after meals, 30 minutes.

Child dose

Aged 11 years and older – under 15 years: 2/3 pouch per dose, aged 7 years and older – under 11 years: 1/2 pouch per dose, aged 3 years and older – under 7 years: 1/3 pouch per dose, aged 2 years and older – under 3 years: 1/4 pouch per dose.

Precautions

This medicine may burden the liver, so individuals who consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Since it contains acetaminophen, serious skin reactions may rarely occur; if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction appears, discontinue immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen of 4,000mg, and it should not be taken concurrently with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals who are allergic to this medicine or its components, those with a history of asthma attacks, infants under three months old, and those currently taking or having stopped certain antidepressants or antipsychotics within the past two weeks should not take this medicine. During use, it is advisable not to take cough and phlegm medications, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or medications containing antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic constitutions, individuals with a history of drug allergies, patients with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, elderly individuals, and pregnant women should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. Children under two years of age should not take this medicine; if necessary, a medical consultation is required. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medicine must be taken as prescribed, should not be used for extended periods, and alcohol should be avoided during use as it may cause drowsiness, necessitating caution when driving or operating machinery. Furthermore, because there may be a risk of side effects when combined with certain medications, inform your doctor of any other medications being taken and consult a professional if symptoms arise.

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), tightness in chest, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, painful oral/ocular mucosa → severe skin abnormal reaction
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory issues accompanied by cough + fever → respiratory problems
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver abnormality (jaundice)
  • Severe swelling

Mild side effects

Rash/redness [congestion and redness], itching, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling [edema], difficulty urinating, persistent or severe thirst, dizziness, anxiety, trembling, insomnia, high-anion-gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Drug interactions

Do not take this medicine with cough expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or medications containing antihistamines. Also, consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking this medicine with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.
