Adult dose

This medication is used to relieve allergic reactions such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis. It is also effective in reducing symptoms of idiopathic chronic urticaria and skin itching. It may help improve your allergy symptoms and skin pruritus.

How to take

Adult dose

10 mg of cetirizine hydrochloride should be orally administered once daily before bedtime. In patients sensitive to adverse reactions, 5 mg may be administered in the morning and evening. The dosage can be appropriately adjusted according to age and symptoms, and in patients with renal impairment, the dosage and dosing interval should be adjusted based on renal function.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with allergies to specific ingredients, severely impaired kidney function, or children under the age of 6. It is advisable to stop taking this medication before allergy testing and caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery. Finally, keep this medication out of the reach of children and store it in its original container.
