This medication is used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness caused by chronic arterial occlusive disease, and to prevent recurrence after a cerebral infarction.

How to take

Adult dose

As cilostazol, the usual adult dose is 100mg orally twice a day. Adjustments should be made appropriately based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate and cause symptoms of angina, so symptoms such as chest pain should be monitored closely. It should not be used in patients at high risk of bleeding, patients with congestive heart failure, patients with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Caution is required when administering to patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents, women menstruating, patients with coronary artery disease, patients with severe renal or hepatic failure, and patients with diabetes.
