This medication is used for respiratory allergic conditions such as bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis. It is also effective for allergic skin conditions such as hives, eczema, dermatitis, itching, pruritic rashes, and common psoriasis. This drug helps relieve inflammation and itching caused by allergies, thereby improving patients' symptoms. Therefore, it is used to treat respiratory and skin diseases associated with allergies.

Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms. 2. Allergic rhinitis Adults: Administer 10~20 mg of this medicine orally once daily. Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms.
This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this drug or its components. Patients with liver disease or a history of liver disease should be cautious when using this medication, as their liver condition may worsen. During the use of this drug, allergic reactions such as rashes, hives, swelling of the face or extremities, and itching may occur. If such symptoms arise, use of the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention sought. Occasionally, drowsiness, fatigue, headaches, dizziness, insomnia, and nightmares may affect the central nervous system, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include nausea, stomach discomfort, dry mouth, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, they should be reported. Liver function abnormalities may occur, and there may be elevated liver enzyme levels or symptoms of jaundice, necessitating regular liver function tests. Rarely, renal function may be affected, leading to proteinuria. Genitourinary symptoms such as increased urination, hematuria, and urinary retention may occur, so immediate reporting of any abnormal symptoms is required. Symptoms such as palpitations or difficulty breathing, nasal congestion may appear, and close monitoring should be undertaken if these symptoms arise. Blood disorders such as thrombocytopenia or leukocytosis may occur infrequently, necessitating periodic blood tests. Hormonal side effects like gynecomastia, menstrual irregularities, and breast pain have been reported infrequently; if symptoms develop, consultation with a physician is advised. This drug is not a rapid relief medication for asthma attacks, thus proper explanation is required for asthma patients. Patients on steroid therapy should taper their steroid dosage gradually when using this medication. This drug may cause drowsiness, so caution is warranted when driving or operating dangerous machinery. If no effect is observed, prolonged use should be avoided. Patients with seasonal allergies should begin taking the medication before symptoms start and continue until symptoms subside. This medication may be used with other sedatives, antihistamines, or alcohol with a low risk of enhanced sedative effects; however, caution is required because of limited experience in combined use. This drug is primarily excreted through the kidneys and is not metabolized by the liver, indicating a low potential for drug interactions. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should use this medication only when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety in pregnancy has not been established. Nursing mothers should avoid using this medication if possible, as it may be transmitted through breast milk, and if unavoidable, breastfeeding should be discontinued. Safety in children, neonates, and infants has not been sufficiently confirmed, so caution is necessary in their use. Elderly patients, often with reduced liver and kidney function, may have a higher risk of side effects and should undergo symptom monitoring and dosage adjustments as necessary. In case of overdose, serious side effects like cardiac rhythm abnormalities may occur, and immediate medical attention is required if symptoms are suspected. Appropriate treatment may include gastric lavage or diuresis. This drug should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to other containers may lead to quality degradation or accidents, so caution is necessary. Taking this medication on an empty stomach may increase blood concentration, so dosing methods such as taking it before bedtime or after meals should be strictly followed according to the condition.
