Relief of difficulty in expectoration in respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma
This medicine helps to facilitate the expulsion of phlegm and improve symptoms in conditions that make expectoration difficult, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis.
Acute disease: 200 mg once, three times a day Chronic disease: 200 mg once, twice a day
Acute disease (6-14 years): 200 mg once, twice a day Chronic disease (6-14 years): 100 mg once, three times a day Cystic fibrosis (6 years and older): 200 mg once, three times a day
This medicine should not be taken by individuals with allergic reactions. In particular, those who have previously shown hypersensitivity to this medicine or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should also not take this medicine. Furthermore, this medicine should not be used for children under 2 years of age. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with issues in lactose breakdown or certain genetic disorders should avoid taking it. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking this medicine. Nursing mothers should also take it cautiously since it is uncertain whether this medication is excreted in breast milk. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomatitis, heartburn, or diarrhea occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if allergic symptoms such as urticaria, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, or bronchospasm occur, stop taking the medicine and consult a medical professional. In severe cases, symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, elevated blood pressure, or difficulty breathing may occur, so caution is warranted. This medicine may reduce the effectiveness of other oral antibiotics; therefore, it is recommended to take it at least 2 hours apart from any oral antibiotics. Also, avoid mixing other medications into this medicine solution. Store this medicine in a safe place, out of the reach of children, and it is safest to keep it in its original container.
Urticaria, bronchospasm (especially in patients with asthma), anaphylaxis, difficulty breathing
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medicine should be taken at least 2 hours apart when taken with oral antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefuroxime, doxycycline, erythromycin, tiamphenicol).
Store this medicine in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. It is advisable to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius.
