Relief of oral inflammation (gingivitis, aphthous stomatitis, etc.) and infection suppression effect.
This medication is effective in alleviating inflammation caused by various oral diseases such as inflammation related to prosthetic (dentures), Candida infections in the mouth like aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, and similar conditions. It is also used for sterilization and disinfection purposes after periodontal surgery. This drug plays a role in improving the inflammatory state in the oral cavity and aiding in wound recovery. Therefore, it is useful for treating and managing oral-related inflammation and infection symptoms.
Use 15mL once, twice a day. Rinse or gargle in the mouth for about 1 minute before spitting it out. Use after brushing teeth and avoid rinsing with water or using other oral cleansing agents or consuming food immediately after use. For stomatitis due to dentures, soak the dentures in the solution for 15 minutes, twice a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication may disrupt the balance of normal bacteria in the oral cavity, so it is advisable not to use it for extended periods. Individuals who have had an allergy to this medication should not use it. Those with asthma or allergic conditions, or a history of such conditions, should use this medication with caution. In the oral cavity, staining may occur on teeth or oral surfaces, and there may be a change in sensation. Especially in children, the oral mucosa may peel or experience slight irritation. Rarely, symptoms of shock, a severe allergic reaction, may occur; in such cases, if nausea, discomfort, cold sweat, dizziness, or shortness of breath appear, discontinue use immediately and seek treatment. If symptoms of allergy such as rash or hives appear, use should be stopped, as severe cases may lead to life-threatening shock. Temporary salivary gland inflammation may occur after using this medication. In the case of general bacterial infections, antibiotics should be used in conjunction, and the treatment period should generally not exceed 10 days. In patients with both gingivitis and periodontitis, the effect of treatment for periodontitis should not be judged solely by the condition of the gingivitis after using this drug. Staining may occur in the oral cavity on the surfaces of teeth, prosthetics, and the back of the tongue. Particularly, individuals wearing prosthetics with rough surfaces or grooves should use this medication cautiously, as it may be challenging to remove stains, and replacement of the prosthetics may be necessary for those who do not desire staining. Pregnant women should use this medication only when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, and it should be used cautiously during breastfeeding, as it is uncertain whether this medication passes into breast milk. Safety and efficacy in children under 18 years have not been sufficiently confirmed. This medication is intended for rinsing in the mouth only and should not be ingested or swallowed. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Additionally, it should not be placed near heat sources.
