This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the common cold, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. Patients can expect to effectively reduce cold symptoms and anticipate a quick recovery through this medication.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older and adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This drug can put a strain on the liver, so people who regularly drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking it. Due to the ingredients in this drug, there may be rare occurrences of severe skin rashes or blisters, as well as allergic reactions, so if any abnormal skin symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Care should be taken not to exceed the daily maximum dosage of the ingredients in this medication, and if any other drugs contain the same ingredients, they should not be taken together. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal issues, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, or who are generally weak, as well as those with high fever, also need to consult before taking. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, or those who are breastfeeding, must discuss the use of this medication with healthcare professionals before taking it. If abnormal symptoms appear during usage, such as rashes, itching, nausea, dizziness, and urination problems, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. In particular, if symptoms such as hives, difficulty breathing, severe skin reactions, or signs of liver dysfunction occur, stop taking immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking the medication and consult a physician. It is principled that children under 2 years of age do not use this medication, and if necessary, a doctor's examination should be obtained. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosages and usage instructions, and it is advisable not to use this medication for a long period. When administering this medication to children, it is essential for the guardian to observe and guide them well. Avoid drinking alcohol during treatment, and since drowsiness may occur, refrain from driving or operating machinery. Since taking this medication with certain drugs may reduce the drug's breaking down ability, consult with a specialist if any medications are currently being taken. If this drug is taken with certain antibiotics, there is the potential for rare but severe metabolic disorders; caution is necessary. Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → shock (anaphylaxis) symptoms
  • Severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucous membranes with high fever → Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis
  • Difficulty breathing or respiratory issues accompanied by cough and fever → asthma, interstitial pneumonia
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy throughout the body → liver dysfunction

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, difficulty urinating, thirst, dizziness, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), rash, redness, itching

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and anti-Parkinson's medications), cough suppressants and expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and antihistamine-containing oral medicines. Consult a physician or pharmacist when taking diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.

Food interactions
