This medication is used to relieve the symptoms of cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 and over: 2 capsules, three times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months old. Individuals who have previously exhibited allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Individuals who are currently taking or have stopped MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antiparkinsonians within the last 2 weeks should not use this medication. It is advisable not to take other cough medicines, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives while using this medication. Individuals with allergies or who have previously experienced allergic symptoms such as fever, rash, or itching due to medication should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disorders, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, the elderly, weakened individuals, and those with high fever should also consult an expert before use. Pregnant, possibly pregnant, or breastfeeding women must consult a doctor before using this medication. Smokers or individuals with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, frequent or persistent cough with phlegm, or cough accompanied by fever or rash or headache should consult an expert before using this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash or itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, difficulty urinating, dry mouth, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, or others occur while taking this medication, it is important to stop immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than 5 to 6 doses, it is advisable to consult an expert. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old unless absolutely necessary, in which case a doctor's consultation is required. It is important to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and for children under 7 years old, it is safer to administer in syrup form instead of capsules. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking this medication, and caution is advised when driving or operating machinery due to potential drowsiness. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
