This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and a heavy feeling in the head caused by colds or allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Children's dosage

For children aged 2 to under 12 years, spray once into each nostril up to 3 times a day. The interval between applications should be at least 8 hours.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by children under 2 years of age. People who are allergic to this medicine or have experienced an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients should avoid using it. Individuals currently taking MAO inhibitors, such as antidepressants, psychiatric drugs, emotion stabilizers, and anti-Parkinson's medications, or who have stopped taking them less than 2 weeks ago, should not use this medication. People who have undergone certain brain surgeries, patients with closed-angle glaucoma, or individuals with dry rhinitis or atrophic rhinitis should not use this medicine. This medicine should also be avoided in cases of specific endocrine disorders or benign prostatic hyperplasia. Individuals with a prone to allergy history, such as hives, dermatitis, migraines, and food allergies, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Those who have previously experienced allergic reactions from nasal sprays should also consult with a professional before usage. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and glaucoma should consult a doctor before using this medicine. Those currently taking specific antidepressants or who are sensitive to adrenergic effects, such as insomnia, dizziness, tremors, cardiac arrhythmias, or elevated blood pressure, should use caution. Pregnant women, women who might become pregnant, and nursing mothers must consult a professional before use. If having a persistent cough, or cough associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, consulting a doctor before using this medicine is advised. If skin rash, redness, swelling, itching, or irritation occurs while using this medicine, it should be discontinued immediately and professional advice sought. If symptoms do not improve after using for more than 3 days, stop using this medicine and consult a doctor. Rarely, symptoms such as severe headache, nausea, vomiting, and visual disturbances may occur, in which case use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. This medicine must be used according to the prescribed dosage and administration; excessive use may worsen nasal congestion. It should only be used as a nasal spray and not in the eyes or ears. To prevent contamination from shared use, it is best to use it privately. Do not use continuously for more than 7 days, and avoid alcohol during use. When used for children, it should be administered and supervised by a guardian. The benzalkonium chloride in this medicine can cause bronchial spasms, therefore prolonged use may result in irritation, swelling, or mucosal edema in the nasal passages. Keep out of reach of children, store away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. Do not transfer the medication to another container, and it is important to store it in the original container to prevent misuse and maintain quality.

Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe allergic reactions, high fever with severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucosa, severe skin reactions, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory issues accompanied by cough and fever, skin or eyes turning yellow (jaundice), extreme lethargy, liver issues (jaundice), sudden.
