This medication helps alleviate symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and heaviness in the head caused by nasal cold, allergic rhinitis, or sinusitis. It contributes to symptom relief when these symptoms disrupt daily life. Therefore, it is used to improve symptoms caused by nasal cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adolescents aged 12 and older or adults, spray 1 time in each nostril (nasal cavity) up to 3 times a day. The interval between applications should be at least 8 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by children under 12 years of age. People with allergies to this medication or any component of it, or a history of hypersensitivity, should not use this medication. People who are taking or have stopped taking MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants and antipsychotics) within the last two weeks should not use this medication. It may also be dangerous for individuals with a history of brain surgery or those with closed-angle glaucoma to use this medication. Patients with dry nasal mucosa or atrophic rhinitis, as well as those with certain endocrine diseases or benign prostatic hyperplasia, should avoid using this medication. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, or glaucoma should consult a professional before using this medication. Caution is necessary for patients taking certain antidepressants or those showing sympathetic nervous system hypersensitivity reactions such as arrhythmias or elevated blood pressure. Pregnant or nursing women should strictly follow medical staff instructions while using this medication. If one has a persistent cough or respiratory diseases such as asthma or chronic bronchitis, consult a professional before use. If symptoms of allergy such as rash, itching, or swelling occur while using this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve after using this medication for more than three days, discontinue use and consult a professional.
