This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by cold, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rash, blistering, red spots, or similar symptoms appear on the skin while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Be cautious not to exceed 4,000 mg of acetaminophen per day, which is included in this medication, and do not use other products containing acetaminophen at the same time. Additionally, if you experience fever, skin rash, or small blisters due to the presence of pseudoephedrine, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. This medication should not be taken by individuals with a history of specific allergies or asthma, infants under 3 months of age, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or patients with severe hypertension or severe kidney disease. Do not take with cough suppressants or expectorants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with specific constitutions or a history of allergies, as well as individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult a professional before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, tremors, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue taking it immediately and consult medical personnel. Particularly if there are signs of hypersensitivity shock, severe skin disorders, asthma attacks, liver dysfunction, pneumonia symptoms, or sudden severe headaches or visual disturbances, seek immediate treatment. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication unless absolutely necessary, in which case a doctor's consultation is required. Follow the prescribed usage and dosage, avoid long-term use, and it is safe not to consume alcohol during the course of the treatment. Also, this medication may cause drowsiness; hence, avoid driving or operating machinery, and pay attention to drug interactions when taking with specific medications.   • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash with high fever, blistering, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes → severe skin reaction
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attack, respiratory issues accompanied by cough + fever
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)
  • Sudden and very severe headache, thunderclap headache

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, difficulty urinating, thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, hyperglycinemic metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), rash, redness, itching

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take with oral medications containing cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take this medication if you are currently taking MAO inhibitors or have stopped them within the last 2 weeks. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.

Food interactions

Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.

Storage
