This medication is used to relieve discomfort associated with several symptoms of a cold, such as sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For those aged 15 years and older and adults, take 2 tablets three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. It contains acetaminophen, so care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products. Although rare, serious skin allergic reactions may occur, so if abnormal symptoms such as skin rash or itching arise, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare professionals. Individuals with allergies to any ingredient in this medication, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, or those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. Furthermore, individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic disorders should also refrain from taking this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take cough medicines, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Those with allergies to Yellow No. 4 dye should use this medication with caution. Children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic dispositions, elderly individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, those with gastric disorders, or pregnant or nursing women should consult healthcare professionals before use. If any abnormal symptoms such as rashes, vomiting, dizziness, swelling, or insomnia occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare professionals. In particular, if symptoms such as hives, breathing difficulties, severe skin reactions, jaundice, or cough and shortness of breath arise, visit a medical institution immediately. Children under the age of 2 should not take this medication, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. Follow the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid prolonged use, and supervision by a guardian is needed for children. Avoid alcohol consumption, and be cautious as the risk of side effects may increase when taken with certain medications. Store this medication in an airtight container to prevent air ingress, and keep it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. This storage method maintains the medication's efficacy and prevents degradation.
