Improvement of symptoms and walking ability in lumbar spinal stenosis, and ischemic symptoms in Buerger disease
This medication helps improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and cold feeling caused by obstructive thromboangiitis (Buerger's disease). It also helps improve subjective symptoms such as lower limb pain, numbness, and decreased walking ability due to acquired lumbar spinal stenosis, allowing patients to live more comfortably. This drug is used primarily to improve blood circulation and alleviate pain, thus enhancing the quality of life.
1. For improvement of ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness associated with thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger's disease), the usual adult dose is 2 tablets orally 3 times daily. 2. For improvement of subjective symptoms (lower limb pain and numbness) and walking ability associated with acquired lumbar spinal canal stenosis (patients with normal SLR test results and bilateral intermittent claudication), the usual adult dose is 1 tablet orally 3 times daily. The dose may be adjusted appropriately according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be used in women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Additionally, it should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders, as it contains lactose. Use with caution in patients who are at risk of bleeding or who are taking antiplatelet drugs, thrombolytics, or anticoagulants. This medication may cause hypersensitivity reactions such as rashes or itching, and use should be discontinued immediately if such symptoms appear. Bleeding symptoms may rarely occur, so the patient's condition should be closely monitored, and administration should be stopped if abnormalities are observed. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and heartburn. It may affect liver function, potentially increasing liver enzyme levels, so caution is advised. Rarely, symptoms such as rapid heart rate, low blood pressure, and cyanosis in the extremities may occur. Headaches, facial flushing, dizziness, swelling, and fatigue are also potential experiences. Patients with lumbar spinal stenosis should monitor symptom changes and decide on the continuation of treatment. Safety during pregnancy has not been confirmed, so it should not be used in pregnant women; animal studies have shown uterine contractions. Safety in children has not been established, and there is no clinical experience in this group. Elderly patients may have reduced physical function, so dosage adjustments may be necessary.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container. It is advisable to maintain storage temperatures between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. This will help preserve the medication's effectiveness and stability.
