This medication is used to temporarily relieve allergy symptoms such as itching of the eyes, tearing, runny nose, itching of the throat and nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, and sinus congestion. These symptoms are primarily associated with allergic rhinitis or colds, and this medication helps reduce discomfort and lessens the perception of symptoms. Therefore, it is effective in alleviating symptoms around the nose and eyes due to allergic reactions.

How to take

Adult dose

Patients aged 12 years and older should take 20 mL (4 packets) every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours.

Child dose

Children aged 2 to under 6 years should take 5 mL (1 packet) every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours. Children aged 6 to under 12 years should take 10 mL (2 packets) every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 24 hours

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine and may rarely cause serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If fever or symptoms such as red spots on the skin or small blisters occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be used by individuals taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors or who have stopped taking them within the past 2 weeks. Additionally, patients with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease should not take this medication. People with heart disease, thyroid problems, diabetes, glaucoma, or respiratory conditions such as asthma should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Care should be taken not to exceed the recommended dosage, especially in children as it may induce excitement. Drowsiness may increase with this medication, and caution is advised when taken with sedatives or tranquilizers as drowsiness may be further intensified. If symptoms such as anxiety, dizziness, or insomnia develop, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if you have a fever lasting more than two days, or if symptoms such as headache, fever, rash, or nausea occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If sudden abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, severe headache, confusion, or visual disturbances occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be used in children under 2 years of age unless absolutely necessary and under a doctor's care. This medication must be stored out of the reach of children and should be kept in its original container for safety. In case of overdose, seek the assistance of a doctor or pharmacist immediately, even if symptoms are not present.

Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), severe allergic reactions, severe skin adverse reactions, acute or chronic kidney disease/renal failure, heart disease, hypertension, thyroid disorders, respiratory disorders (asthma, chronic bronchitis), ischemic colitis symptoms (sudden abdominal pain, rectal bleeding), reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, symptoms of reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (sudden severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances)
