Relief of cold symptoms (runny nose, nasal congestion, etc.)
This medicine is used to relieve symptoms caused by cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
Ages 15 and above: 1 pouch (20 mL) per dose, taken three times daily after meals, with an interval of 4 hours between doses.
Ages 11 to under 15 years: 2/3 pouch per dose, Ages 7 to under 11 years: 1/2 pouch per dose, Ages 3 to under 7 years: 1/3 pouch per dose, Ages 2 to under 3 years: 1/4 pouch per dose
This medicine can place burden on the liver, so individuals who drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before use. Acetaminophen contained in this medicine may rarely cause severe skin allergic reactions, so if symptoms such as rash or itching occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. The daily maximum dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and this medicine should not be taken together with other medications containing acetaminophen. The artificial sweetener aspartame in this medicine is converted to phenylalanine in the body, so individuals with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria should not take this medicine. Individuals who have had allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medicine or its ingredients, have previously induced asthma, infants under three months old, or those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medicine. During use, it is important not to take this medicine with other medications including cough or cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, tranquilizers, and antihistamines. Especially children, elderly individuals, those with liver or kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal issues, pregnant or nursing women should consult with a professional before use. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, urination problems, dizziness appear while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is a principle that children under the age of 2 should not take this medicine, and if necessary, seek medical advice. Ensure to follow the specified dosage and administration, avoid prolonged use, refrain from alcohol, and since drowsiness may occur, avoid driving or operating machinery.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain of mucous membranes in mouth/eyes, asthma, liver abnormalities (jaundice), systemic lethargy, liver dysfunction, cough due to interstitial pneumonia, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, severe swelling or urination abnormalities
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not take this medicine with expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, tranquilizers, and antihistamines. Additionally, consult a doctor or pharmacist if taking along with diabetic medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.
Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine.
Store this medicine in a tightly sealed container to prevent air and moisture. It is best to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing this way will help maintain the medicine's efficacy.
