Precautions
This medication is for compounding use only. It should not be used for general health supplementation or other purposes. As this medication contains lactose, individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Individuals with high blood pressure, older age, heart or kidney issues, fluid retention, or those currently receiving treatment from a physician should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face, hands, and feet, heaviness of the eyelids, hand stiffness, increased blood pressure, or headache occur during or after taking this medication, discontinue immediately and consult with a professional. Long-term use of this medication may result in hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain, so regular blood tests to monitor potassium levels are necessary, and if abnormalities are found, the medication should be discontinued. If muscle-related symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis occur, stop taking the medication and consult healthcare personnel. When taking this medication, co-administration with potassium-containing drugs or other licorice-containing medications, as well as certain diuretics, increases the risk of side effects, so caution is advised. Additionally, when taking other traditional herbal or natural remedies, care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients. The medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container, mindful of temperature, sunlight, and humidity, and kept in its original container tightly closed. Transferring to another container may lead to misuse or deterioration of quality.
