Precautions

This medication can put a burden on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component in this medication may rarely cause severe skin allergic reactions, so if a rash or other allergic reactions occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is set at 4,000mg, and caution should be exercised when taking this medication in combination with other acetaminophen-containing products, as this can lead to liver damage. If severe skin symptoms such as fever, redness, or small blisters occur due to the pseudoephedrine component, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals with allergies to this medication or those who have experienced asthma with this or similar components, infants under 3 months, those taking certain antidepressants, or those with severe hypertension or kidney disease should avoid taking this medication. It is safe not to take cough medications, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines while using this medication. Especially children who have or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, those with allergies or chronic conditions such as liver, kidney, or heart diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before taking it. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur after taking, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is generally not recommended for children under 2 years old to use this medication unless necessary based on a doctor's advice. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, do not use for extended periods, and avoid alcohol during use. Additionally, this medication may cause drowsiness, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. If taking certain medications concurrently, metabolism of acetaminophen may be delayed; it is advisable to consult a professional if you are taking other medications.
