Precautions

Care must be taken to avoid confusing the unit of dosage in milligrams and milliliters during administration. Incorrect dosing can lead to serious poisoning or death. It is advisable to use appropriate analgesics immediately when oral administration becomes possible. Ensure that acetaminophen is not included in other medications to avoid overdose. Exceeding the recommended dosage can cause severe liver damage, with symptoms potentially occurring between 2 to 6 days after administration. In such cases, immediate detoxification treatment is required. Patients with impaired liver function or a history of liver disease must consult a doctor before taking this medication, and regular liver function tests are necessary when taking high doses for an extended period. Individuals who consume alcohol frequently each day should consult an expert before taking this medication; otherwise, the risk of liver damage increases significantly. If any skin rash, blisters, or severe allergic reactions occur during this medication, stop immediately and inform a healthcare professional. People with allergies to acetaminophen or this drug, peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, liver or kidney impairment, or cardiac dysfunction should not take this medication. Use should also be avoided if there is a history of asthma induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or if specific medications are being taken. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, bleeding tendencies, elderly patients, children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers should use this medication cautiously and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. This drug may rarely cause side effects such as hypotension, shock, increased liver enzymes, blood cell reduction, neurological disorders, skin rashes, and others. There may be interactions with other drugs, particularly if probenecid, salicylamide, isoniazid, carbamazepine, phenytoin, or warfarin are being taken; always consult an expert. Driving or operating machinery is not affected; however, it should not be mixed with other medications. Children and elderly individuals should take the minimum dosage and be monitored closely for adverse reactions, and in case of infections, appropriate antibiotics should be used as prescribed by a doctor. Use of this medication during pregnancy is restricted, hence it must be used cautiously considering benefits and risks, while it is generally safe to use while breastfeeding. Children may require dosage adjustments due to pharmacokinetic differences compared to adults, while elderly individuals do not necessarily need specific dose adjustments. In patients with severely impaired kidney function, a sufficient interval between doses must be maintained, and in cases of overdose, immediate hospital admission for detoxification is required. This drug is primarily metabolized in the liver and excreted in urine, thus caution is needed if there are issues with liver or kidney function. Store in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air, at a temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius for safety. Proper storage helps maintain the drug's efficacy.
